Peter FitzSimons AM - one of Australia’s best-known authors, journalists and public figures - will visit The Barwon Heads Golf Club for a special presentation of his new book, The Race to the Top of the World. This event is being held in conjunction with Heads & Tales Bookstore.

Peter’s latest book tells the epic true story of George Mallory and Edmund Hillary and their quests, almost 30 years apart, to become the first people to conquer Mount Everest. It combines adventure, courage and triumph with the enduring mystery surrounding Mallory’s disappearance in 1924.

Join us for an entertaining and thought-provoking evening with one of Australia’s most accomplished storytellers.

Bookings are available to Barwon Heads Golf Club members only. Members are welcome to bring guests, provided all attendees are pre-booked and attend in the company of the member.
